Seaglass I was painted after a day of beachcombing with my daughter at West Runton beach in Norfolk. We were hunting for pieces of seaglass, slowly wandering up and down the beach, patiently sifting through pebbles and sand, looking for a glimpse of sea-washed green, soft aqua and frosted white. This piece holds the memory of those colours and the simple pleasure of finding something small and perfect. I hope Seaglass I brings the same feeling of mindful concentration and coastal calm to your space that it brought back to me.
